THANKS to Applebee's for support of READ

The restaurant supports many great causes in the area with their Giving Tuesday promotion.

At left, Applebee's Jeff Brewer presents a donation to Heidi Faulks and Susan Hasley from the November 7th READ day.

We work to spread literacy awareness in the community and to promote the community’s participation in the activities of READ.

We recruit and tutor English-speaking and/or non-English speaking adults who are eighteen years of age and older and need improvement in speaking, reading, and writing skills.

We rely on volunteer tutors to work with our students.

Our vision is to support adult learners in their journey to achieve their literacy, academic, and life goals.
